Use this Chipotle macro calculator to build a burrito bowl, burrito, salad or tacos and total the calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, fiber, sugar and sodium from the ingredients you select. The calculator uses Chipotle’s published U.S. nutrition rows for stable menu ingredients, supports light/normal/extra/double portion estimates, and includes optional macro targets so you can compare a meal with your own calorie or protein goal.
Build a Chipotle meal ingredient by ingredient
A useful Chipotle macro counter should show more than calories. Rice, beans, protein, salsa, cheese, sour cream, guacamole and tortillas can change the protein, carbohydrate and fat profile substantially even when two meals look similar.
Select a meal type first. A burrito automatically includes the published burrito tortilla; a salad includes the Supergreens base; taco mode lets you choose flour or crispy corn tortillas and the number of tacos. A bowl adds no tortilla automatically, so the result comes only from the ingredients you select.
Chipotle bowl macro calculator example
A classic chicken bowl with white rice, black beans, chicken, fresh tomato salsa, cheese and romaine uses these published servings:
| Ingredient | Calories | Protein | Carbs | Fat |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| White rice | 210 | 4 g | 40 g | 4 g |
| Black beans | 130 | 8 g | 22 g | 1.5 g |
| Chicken | 180 | 32 g | 0 g | 7 g |
| Fresh tomato salsa | 25 | 0 g | 4 g | 0 g |
| Cheese | 110 | 6 g | 1 g | 8 g |
| Romaine lettuce | 5 | 0 g | 1 g | 0 g |
That build totals about 660 calories, 50 g protein, 68 g carbohydrates and 20.5 g fat before any custom portion changes.
High-protein Chipotle presets
Chipotle’s current High Protein menu highlights combinations such as a High Protein–Low Calorie Bowl made with adobo chicken, Supergreens, fajita vegetables, fresh tomato salsa and guacamole. Using the stable published ingredient rows, that combination totals about 36 g protein, matching Chipotle’s current menu claim.
Chipotle also lists a High Protein–High Fiber Bowl using chicken, light brown rice, black beans, fajita vegetables, roasted chili-corn salsa, fresh tomato salsa and lettuce. The calculator’s preset uses a half serving for the “light” rice estimate and produces approximately 46 g protein and 14 g fiber.
How portion multipliers are handled
The published nutrition table provides standard serving sizes such as 4 oz chicken, 4 oz rice, 2 oz fajita vegetables and 1 oz cheese. Normal and Double therefore have clear arithmetic: Double is twice the published row.
“Light” and “Extra” are less exact in a restaurant environment. This calculator models Light as 0.5× and Extra as 1.5× the published serving solely for planning. Chipotle notes that actual nutrition can vary because portions, recipes and ingredient sources vary.
Chipotle macro tracker
The optional Chipotle macro tracker fields let you enter calorie, protein, carbohydrate and fat targets. After the meal is calculated, the result shows how much of each target the build uses. Targets are personal planning inputs; the calculator does not decide what your daily calorie or macro targets should be.
The page also estimates the calories represented by protein, carbs and fat using 4 calories per gram of protein, 4 per gram of carbohydrate and 9 per gram of fat. Those macro-derived calories can differ slightly from the published total because nutrition labels use rounding and fiber contributes differently.

Seasonal and new Chipotle ingredients
Chipotle’s live menu changes more quickly than a static calculator. The current online menu can feature newer products such as Pollo Asado or Smoked Serrano Steak that are not present in the stable nutrition PDF used for the embedded ingredient table. When that happens, use Chipotle’s current official nutrition calculator to obtain the ingredient values and add them through the custom-item fields on this page.
This avoids assigning guessed macros to a new menu item simply because its name sounds similar to an older protein.
Frequently asked questions
Is this an official Chipotle macro calculator?
No. Series Calculator is independent and is not affiliated with Chipotle Mexican Grill. Published Chipotle nutrition information is used as the data source, and the official Chipotle nutrition calculator should be checked for the newest menu items.
Can I use this as a Chipotle bowl macro calculator?
Yes. Select Burrito Bowl, choose the ingredients and portions, and the tool totals calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, sugar and sodium.
Does the Chipotle macro counter include double protein?
Yes. Select the protein and change its portion multiplier to Double 2×. The nutrition row is doubled mathematically.
How accurate are Light and Extra portions?
They are estimates. Light is modeled as 0.5× and Extra as 1.5× a published serving, but actual restaurant scoops vary. Normal published servings and exact doubles are more directly tied to the nutrition table.
Can the Chipotle macro tracker set my daily targets?
No. You enter your own targets. The calculator only compares the meal against them and does not provide individualized nutrition prescriptions.
Methodology and sources
Stable ingredient values come from Chipotle’s published U.S. Nutrition Facts table, including calories, fat, carbohydrates, fiber, sugar, protein and sodium. Chipotle’s live nutrition calculator and current High Protein menu were reviewed for present-day meal formats and featured combinations. Meal totals are the sum of selected ingredient rows multiplied by the chosen portion factors. Seasonal items can be entered manually from the official live nutrition calculator so the tool remains useful between data updates.
